Rebar Supply Company: Trust Triumph Construction Supply For Any Project

rebar supply company

A rebar supply company is essential to any contractor working on a wide variety of projects. Triumph Construction Supply is the premiere rebar supply company in the Kansas City area. Rebar is short for reinforcing bar. It is a steel bar used as a tension device in reinforced concrete and reinforced masonry structures. Since concrete is strong under compression but has weak tensile strength, rebar can significantly increase the tensile strength of the structure. The continuous series of ribs, lug, or indentations on rebar are part of the design intended to promote a better bond with the concrete and reduce the risk of slippage.

The most common type of rebar is carbon steel, which typically consists of hot-rolled round bars with deformation patterns embossed into its surface. The thermal expansion rates of steel and concrete are similar, so there will be minimal difference in the amount of stress experienced by these materials used in combination due to temperature change. One major weakness of carbon steel rebar is its susceptibility to corrosion.

Due to this drawback, another commonly used type of rebar is stainless steel which is more corrosion resistant. Alternatively, carbon steel rebar can be coated in an epoxy resin which will help it resist the effects of corrosion, especially when used in saltwater environments. Alternatives to carbon steel tend to be more expensive and have lesser mechanical properties making their use more specialized.

Triumph Construction supply is happy to be your rebar supplier and its uses for reinforcing concrete are endless:

  • Concrete Slabs
  • Parking Garages
  • Concrete Walls
  • Driveways
  • Paved roads
  • Masonry Walls
  • Drilled Piers
  • Foundations

Throughout the growth of Triumph Construction Supply as a company, we have recognized that paying the same amount of dedication to each new customer is essential to our future success. This dedication is what allows a small, family-owned business to continue to successfully compete with large national companies. We take pride in our contributions as a rebar supplier to construction projects in Kansas City and throughout the central United States.

Dowel Baskets for Concrete, A Triumph Construction Supply Specialty

Dowel baskets for concrete

If you have a construction project requiring dowel baskets for concrete, Triumph Construction Supply is the best place to go. We take pride in our contributions to construction projects in Kansas City and throughout the central United states. That said, no matter where in the US you might need a dowel basket for concrete, Triumph Construction Supply has you covered.

Dowel baskets for concrete are used to reinforce roads and any other area where a vehicle will be driving on. These bakers are made of dowels, which come in a variety of different diameters, lengths, shapes, materials, and coatings, and frames which are top wires, bottom wires, legs and shipping wires. These frames are typically square, but can also be made more skewed depending on the specifications.

Dowel baskets for concrete work by transferring the wheel load of a vehicle from one slab of pavement to the next. By placing these baskets underneath the slabs of pavement, the magnitude of stresses and deflections at the slab joints are significantly reduced. This helps to reduce joint distresses such as pumping, faulting, loss of support, and corner breaks. Through mitigating these problems, dowel baskets for concrete will prolong the useful life of any concrete pavement they are used with.

Located at 3131 Bell Street in Kansas City, MO, Triumph Construction supply is the premiere supply company for dowel baskets and other products. We are committed to helping you get the right dowel baskets you need to make your job successful. We are a small, family-owned business that is capable of competing directly and successfully with large national companies. We can compete with companies that possess larger resources because we never forget to focus on our customer relationships. This focus on the customer is why those that helped start our business in 2010 are still our strongest customers today.

If you have a road or other pavement project that you need dowel baskets for, call Triumph Construction Supply. You can reach us at (816) 444-6000 or click here to leave us a message online. We have the resources you need to make your project the best it can be.

Our high-strength plastic individual chairs can be used for a variety of applications. They are most commonly used for supporting rebar reinforcement in tilt-up panels. We stock truckload quantities of various sizes 3/4″ to 7-1/4″ in our Kansas City warehouse.

Geogrid for Soil Reinforcement

Geogrids provide soil stabilization and base reinforcement for a variety of applications.
